SelbsthilfePRO is a product of NEXO labs gemeinnützige GmbH. We develop digital tools that support self-help organisations and civil society initiatives. These tools have been developed over more than twenty years of close collaboration with these organisations and in response to their needs.
Our activities are non-profit-oriented and do not aim to generate financial profit. In accordance with our articles of association, the focus of our work is:
- supporting self-help groups in their day-to-day work through advice, training and the provision of digital tools.
- promoting the public relations work of self-help groups to raise awareness of their concerns and activities
- fostering networking amongst self-help groups
- the anonymous and data-protection-compliant collection, analysis and provision of data to improve the information available on illnesses and self-help activities
- cooperating with specialist organisations, research institutions and public bodies to further develop the self-help landscape
- to run high-profile campaigns to destigmatise health and social issues.
We are supported by an advisory board drawn from the self-help community. People who know what matters — from their own experience:
